Plan Your Budget
The first step of a building process is to look at the budget for the project. There is a chance that you will need a construction loan or a mortgage. The first step is often to look at the size of the loan you can qualify for. Knowing approximate costs involved in the project is important also because this will shape the scope of work and the finish your home will have. This is where we come in. Please allow us to provide you with a detailed analysis of your project, so that we can start putting some numbers to your dream.
Choose Your Lot
The building process always really starts with the land or a site for your new home. Investigating factors like soil conditions, drainage, zoning and building codes in the area where you want to build is an important part of the process.
Pick a Plan
Many new homes are built using stock plans from a catalog. Here at CandleStone Homes customizing your new home is our priority. A custom-designed home, is created specifically for the family which will live there. In most cases, custom-designed homes require the services of a licensed architect. Our team can provide you with full architectural design services. Whether you opt for a stock or a custom design, you will be wise to choose a plan that will meet your needs for many years to come.
Selecting Materials Package
Materials package can include things like selecting lumber components and beams, types of windows and doors, roofing system, sheeting & subfloor, siding, and other construction and finishing materials. CandleStone Homes can be your guide to select the right materials for your construction needs while keeping the overall budget of the project in mind.
After all the selections and design are finalized, a firm price for your project can be confirmed and you will enter into a New Home Building Contract with CandleStone Homes. Following that the building stage will begin.
